Yeah, but a ramming flag is 50% reduction, he lost 17k from a 97k BB ramming him :)
 
I've seen it happen before where one ship doesn't take anywhere near the damage it should. Typically it's a situation where one ship has turned away from the other and/or they're not "putting all their weight" behind a ram, if that makes sense. But then I've also seen the lightest touch inflict maximum damage so what the fuck do I know about this, haha

Also, in regards to ichase's video, the sentiment is one thing but the execution is something else. In my opinion and experience it was a bad move for him to use flamu as an example at all because that frankly just justifies his and his fanboys' beliefs that he's ship jesus. It's a huge step back for the community and only fuels his arrogance.

Unfortunately, any type of video that mentions him becomes a video about him and the original point is lost entirely. He's an absolutely pointless subject to bring up in a video.

Agreed. In that ranked battle I got into a close quarters fight with the DM. I should have lost that fight hands down, but I stayed fully bow on while he sailed full broadside while shootting AP at my angled bow.

Submarines in a Halloween event is entirely different from submarines added to the tech tree.

The mechanics are actually not bad at all and I like what they've done with it BUT the problem with submarines has always been the same as carriers: probably not that bad to play but an awful experience to play against. People are already forgetting that torp boats are basically submarines for all intents and purposes as it stands.
 
What is this PAS thing? This thing is already monitized to death and is an horrifically expensive “free” game as it is.

I spent $54 for brittish containers and didn’t get jack shit except the privilege of working for two low tier destroyers that I would have free xp’d anyway.

I hate aslains packs, even for wot, they dump so much shit in your computer even if you dont install things. I stopped using them. A resart needed is fishy as hell.
 
I tried the official mod pack but it didn’t seem to work well for me.

I wouldn't use the pack then because there's no reason whatsoever for a restart to be required. I used Butterkeks, btw

Also, just a point that I'd like to make: I fucking hate the Alaska. Not good enough to be a battleship and not effective enough to be a cruiser. Plays like absolute trash
 
Ok, so Cossack has hit the premium store. The bare bones purchase is like $45.

There is no way in hell that I am going to buy a premium for that kind of money when it's WEAKER (as far as I can tell) than it's normal line counterparts (Lighting). No fucking way.

WG is really starting to feed off the "I want it NOW Crowd", up to and including delaying the normal release of ships (cough cough RN Destroyers). I have fucking games like that.

I guess business is business. I'm just not willing to be stupid any longer.

Besides, I got over a million in free XP in the bank just waiting to walk the RN line anyway. I can wait :)
 
XVM is a mod which show every player's stats in the player panel in game. People use it to stat shame, to prioritize opponents, and to predict the outcome of matches before the round starts. It doesn't work if people hide their stats though.
 
From what I've seen in the Vids it just doesn't seem very well rounded. I expect something I pay $40+ for to be absolutely competitive in every way against the same tear normal line.

I've been playing with the lower tier RN DD's. I am not impressed one bit. The only one I don't have is the Lighting.

I think the real excitement with the RN DD's starts at Tier 9. May Tier 8, I just dont't know yet on that one.
 
Not a bad set last night. I think Dunkirk may be a little to easy though...

Hitting those gun boats with floaty shells is a pain in the ass !

I also don't get the purpose behind restricting the use of a ship to once, and even worse having to pay 75k in creditrs just to play again. It's kinda, well, bullshit.
