Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So you have a EVGA card that crashes at 82 and a PNY card that does not exhibit the temp issue? Interesting.
Any other EVGA FE owners want to chime in if their card will crash to desktop on stock fan profiles?
Anyone crashing with a temp limit of 82? At stock fan profiles, whenever I hit 82 degrees it throws a driver error. If I turn up the fan I can OC +210/500 no problems but it worries me that 82 degrees is my limit so I can never run the stock profile. EVGA FE edition for with +120 power and 92...
I mean that's fine. I only buy reference cards for the past 4 years. They overclocked alright and I turned up the fan speeds to max on the curve. Noisy but they fit and exhausted heat out the back.
I expect to hit 2 ghz when the fan is turned up and will be buying the new card. Except now I...
Unfortunate that they are charging a premium for essentially nothing, that only punishes SFF builders. Great marketing spin though, that they charge $100 on something that performs worse than an EVGA AIO cooler which is also in the $100 ballpark.
Also they mentioned keeping reference cards in...
I doubt AMD has an answer or else they would have already released benchmarks. Consumers don't have infinite money and they need to capture it before it goes to the competitor. Staying silent is just evidence they don't have a competitive product.
Ya it seems to be better if I max it out. Unfortunately I have to turn my settings down a bit now.
Mine came in from amazon with no issues thankfully. April build date.
Went from the Swift to this guy. While I really enjoy the colors, I have to say the difference in motion blur is pretty noticeable to me. Anyone else have that experience?
Been using this monitor over the ROG Swift, mainly because i'm lazy but also because input lag and response time doesn't feel that bad, even at 60 fps. Also seems better than the LG 34um95 in input lag and response time, which I returned. My subjective 2c.
On mine I don't think it does. Looked like DDM auto enables dynamic contrast. So then you will see the brightness auto adjust down on a black screen and subsequently have a perceived reduction in bleed...
