yes, usually the motherboard will come with a piece of rubber covering half of the connector letting you know not to use the half thats covered, to plug the 4pin into the uncovered half.
700d and 800d by corsair are awesome looking and great for water cooling.

am3 is dual channel not tripple so 2x2gb sticks would be best. 3x2gb is for 1336 socket...
i wouldnt get the ocz ram. the ram i listed is better.
and i suggested over a 500w psu so you had room to add a graphic card later, i dont know what kind of graphic work you will do but i believe you will get much better colors from a decent graphic card. and seasonic is one of the best...
