Replacement g700 cord?

Does anyone know of a usb-minib cord that will feel like a normal mouse cord for the logitech g700 and isnt as stiff as the one that comes with the mouse?
 
Maybe one of those retractable like these. You can remove the re tractor. Is the cord length long enough for you?

Since the G700 had the molded end to help reduce strain on the port I would be weary with a thicker cable.

I personally use batteries and you can get a 4pack w/ charger of eneloops for about $15.
