I used to live there. Went to that MicroCenter all the time (and several of the Fry's around there, too). Now, I'm in a state where the nearest MicroCenter is on the other side of the state completely (about 7 hours away). So, yeah. That sucks.

Three. I had constant dropouts with mine as well. Gave them to my wife to use with Skype. I use the G35's instead, and MUCH prefer them.

I've got three of them. They just have a clamp that secures it to the desk, and I've got them on two IKEA desks, so yes, they'll work with them. I love them, and this is a great price (I paid about $130 each for mine).

It's funny..years and years ago I'd play UT with an old IBM buckling spring keyboard, and the "serious", "hardcore" gamers mocked me for it. Now, mechanical keyboards are all the rage. Go figure.

Actually, that's not what it shows. If you read the entire article, pretty much every case of gains (and they were very small) was attributed to the improved Ivy Bridge IPC, not to PCI 3.0. And even with the improved IPC and PCI 3.0, the actual improvements -- and this is explicitly stated...
