    your vcore is EXTREMELY HIGH if your not overclocking theres no reason to ever hit 1.6 bring that down to 1.35 -1.4 possibly even less.

    i have an opteron 144 at 2.7 and i cant hit 2.8 with a 0602 stepping since i only have a multiplier of 9 my fsb is at 300 im starting to think the board just cant go beyond 300. no matter what voltage settings i have i will fail prime95 at 2.8 .

    Overclocking w/lots of ram...

    when i got my opteron 144. i had 4 sticks of ram set at 2t. It would prime and be stable but it would crash in games and sometimes windows would completely lock up. I took out 2 stick and never had the problem again. I would defintely try to get pc4000 ram 2 1gig sticks its been working great...

    yea i have an Asus A8N32 but ill try the two sticks today to see if i get any crashing. Thx for tips so far though. temps were never much of a problem would hit 48C under heavy load and 35 idle.
