    i added a 2nd HDD, added another gig of RAM & did bios flash - all separately. And, once reformatted & reinstalled VIsta AFTER activation the first time. None of the hardware changes prompted needing to reactivate and after the reformat & reinstall, i reactivated with no "key already in use"...
