8600GT Normal Temps?

I have an EVGA 8600GT in my HTPC (An old Dell E521 although all that's left from the original computer is the MB, case, CPU) and it seems to be running really hot. It idles @ 61-65, under load up to 80c...

Is this dangerously hot? Ive searched online for normal 8600gt temps but have gotten a lot of different answers...

Comp does not have fantastic airflow (seriously restricted by horrid Dell design - just one massive totally proprietary fan in front of cpu heatsink that pushes air towards back of case. I added an 80mm exhaust fan and temps went up...) but all other peripherals have OK temps (CPU idles 29/30c..)

If I manually set card's fan speed to 100% all the time it idles at 55c and under load about 73-75c.

Any ideas, or probably just a product of limited cooling in the computer?

Any info is much appreciated!
