I can boot and install Linux from a usb just cant get it to work with a DOS USB.

I'm want to install Win7 on a new mini-itx board I just bought.The board is Win8 cert but it seems I need a BIOS update to make it work with 7. The problem is I can't get it to boot into DOS so I can flash it. I made a bootable USB and tested it with another comp but it's a no go on the J1900...
My latest BOINC comp. I still need to make a few tweeks. I'm not happy with the HSF, CPU throttles even @ stock settings, it will get swapped out as soon as I decide which way to go.

I'm currently running Raspbian “wheezy” crunching Wuprop and Enigma. I have mine OC'd @800mhz and it takes me 11hr per wu with Enigma and gets me 30 points. OProject ALX would add another 8 points every 10 mins. Big point lose.
Here's my "Fortress of Solitude" It's still under construction but I'm slowly getting it done. I split our garage in half with a wall, one side for storage/home improvement space, the other mancave.
