I'm want to install Win7 on a new mini-itx board I just bought. The board is Win8 cert but it seems I need a BIOS update to make it work with 7. The problem is I can't get it to boot into DOS so I can flash it. I made a bootable USB and tested it with another comp but it's a no go on the J1900...
My latest BOINC comp. I still need to make a few tweeks. I'm not happy with the HSF, CPU throttles even @ stock settings, it will get swapped out as soon as I decide which way to go.

I'm currently running Raspbian “wheezy” crunching Wuprop and Enigma. I have mine OC'd @800mhz and it takes me 11hr per wu with Enigma and gets me 30 points. OProject ALX would add another 8 points every 10 mins. Big point lose.
Here's my "Fortress of Solitude" It's still under construction but I'm slowly getting it done. I split our garage in half with a wall, one side for storage/home improvement space, the other mancave.

I have two MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Power Edition 1GB cards for sale. I bought these just before Christmas. They run great but I am downsizing. They have run GPUGRID, Primegrid, Colletz, Albert@home, ect... I have not folded on them though. Ran a slight overclock @1100mhz no voltage tweaks...
I have my 3570k at 4.3g and all I did was change the multi to 43 no voltage tweak. I didn't try going any higher, 4.3g is plenty for me. with all core's maxed the highest temp I have seen is 54c.

I was messing around with it last night and ended up doing something that made the desktop unusable. I decided to switch over to Mint with the KDE desktop. It seems to be a lot more friendly to peeps who are used to Windows. I installed the same old 32bit version on BOINC and it's working fine...
I am a complete newb with Linux(been installed for 3 day's) and I need to upgrade the BOINC manager/Client. The Ubuntu Software Center only has an older 32bit client for download. I am running that client on 64bit Ubuntu 12.10 and I would like to up it to the latest 64bit one, but I'm clueless...
I plan on racking up points in all the GPU projects at some point, I have some points in each of them all already. I ended up putting a 7850, 2x 650TI's and the GTX 260 all in my AMDx4 810 rig. I would love to go with a 660TI but I'm reluctant to spend the money on something that will just sit...
I went a completely different way. I wanted to use the ITX case so I bought myself a mini-ITX board with an AMD C-60. It runs NCI projects 24/7 hooked up to my living room TV. It runs Diablo II nice and smooth too. Now I have the cash to replace the GTX260, just have to decide between a 2nd...
