    Help, high PC temps!

    Antec 900, i have that case. its pretty damn breezy. I also have a 8800GTX, a qx6700 and 4 hdd's running in there, and case temps are fine. also isn't speed fan supposed to give bogus temps? my experience with it wasn't great at least. I use everest, i think they have a trial on their site.

    so you're saying i should up my fsb to 400 and lower my multiplier to compensate? well i just stepped up my FSB to 333 and turned the mult down to 8 and the system failed to POST. not really sure how i can get a 1:1 ratio when i can't up the fsb..but then i'm a big oc noob, any advice?

    well the only reason i was thinking of the cooljag fan is that it has a massive CFM and i've been told that this will further increase cooling. Also its PWM which is a must, which would help with the noise? Assuming the cpu isn't on load all the time the fan wouldn't need to spin at full speed...

    phew, thats good to hear ;) Its multiplier is set to x11 (from x10) which makes it run at something like 2.9933MHz Thats with the stock hsf. when i get my new heatsink i'll be aiming to push it as far as it can go. but yeah the cpu rocks, took me a while to get used to multitasking though...
