Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Ok, well i have run Memtest overnight and did near 30,000% of tests on it, and found nothing.
As for the video card, I have recently added a ThermalTake Giant 3 onto it, so the cooling issue with it is resolved. But the crashing is still happening. The drivers have all been updated for...
My computer has been locking up like crazy these last few days.
It happens mostly in games or anything graphically intensive, like movies. But it has been known to spontaneously stall when just viewing websites.
At first, i thought it was my 9600xt whose fan recently died, and i currently...
Anyone know where to get a decently priced set of Sennheisers in Australia?
I had my eye particularly on HD497s, but all the local retailers around my place sell them for around AUS$140-160 ($US100-110) and I have been seeing threads where people are quoting US prices @ US$35-50.. so that is...
exactly how noticeable is the difference between the SB Live! Value and the one you picked up.
I currently have a SB Live! Value also, and I recently got a HD497, and am soon going to get a 5.1 set for my comp, and I just want to know how much difference in audio quality an upgraded soundcard...
I am also in Australia, looking for a decent set of speakers. I'll be primarily using it for Gaming and Music. Maybe a bit of both at the same time. Especially with D3 here, and HL2 lingering on the horizon.
Up until I read this thread, I was taking a serious consideration of getting 5.1. Had...
I recently bought a Gexcube Radeon 9600 XT Extreme and after around 2 months of using it, i noticed that it started crashing my games. I eventually figured out that the fan on the video card had slowed down. It seemed that dust had gotten the best of it.
Now the fan doesnt even spin on...
Ok, I'm currently building a second computer from old parts, and I am having one major issue with booting up at the moment. And it seems that I have exhasted most - if not all - possiblities as to what I think it could be.
Basically the HDD i have doesnt have an operating system on it, and it...
I've tried a whole host of different cat drivers now, to see how they would handle the games. NFSU still crashes within 2 minutes, 3dmark is more stable but still crashes after a while.
I've played warcraft 3 on it with very annoying sponaneous chug...
I'm pretty sure it isnt the drivers...
After installing my 9600XT 128MB GeCube video card, and putting in fresh 4.1 CAT drivers.. i ran NFSU and within 5 minutes the game crashed with a VPU error. I restarted the comp, and ran 3DMARK2001 and it crashed 5 tests into it.
note: I havent overclocked it at all, it is running at stock...
alright, on inspection how would i notice what brand the ram is? assuming that i cant actually take off the heatsink/fan until after i buy it..
so the type of ram isnt brand specific?
I'm getting my card in two days time, and I've been hearing a lot of negative things about PowerColor...
Basically, the cards I can get are PowerColor, and GeXube
I want to try and clock the BIOS to 9800pro, but i was just wondering if anyone knew if there were any issues with the following...
