I'm getting my card in two days time, and I've been hearing a lot of negative things about PowerColor...

Basically, the cards I can get are PowerColor, and GeXube
I want to try and clock the BIOS to 9800pro, but i was just wondering if anyone knew if there were any issues with the following:

PowerColor 9800 non-pro 128MB DDR
GeXube 9800 non-pro 128MB DDR

I've been hearing that the PowerColor's memory is clocked a lot lower?

Any insight would be appreciated. I dont want to buy something, only to regret it.

It would be helpful if you could look at the cards in first person, to get to the 9800pro speeds you will need either Samsung 3.3ns ram or Samsung 2.8ns ram. If you get infineon 3.0 your screwed as it tops out around 320-330 (see sig).

alright, on inspection how would i notice what brand the ram is? assuming that i cant actually take off the heatsink/fan until after i buy it..

so the type of ram isnt brand specific?

is infineon really that bad?
what are the clock comparisons
stock speed wise are they the same?

Yes at stock speeds the cards perform exactly the same, but you stated that you want to flash to a 9800pro. The infineon ram's limit is 330 or below and th stock speed for a 9800pro is 340.
