Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Looking at upgrading my AMD FX-8350 to a Ryzen 5-3600x and wanted suggestions for a motherboard to pair it with. I was looking at the ASUS X570-P Prime but wanted to poll the community. Thanks in advance.

No blown caps from what I can tell.
I'm thinking its a CPU thermal issue, now. If I idle on the BIOS screen I can watch the CPU temp increase from 80 all the way up to about 103, then it loses power. The issue got worse when I blew out the radiator and fan for my Corsair H90 CPU liquid...
Greetings,
I've been having a machine issue lately that I can't quite pinpoint. My rig will randomly lose power with no blue screen or warning/error messages. When power is restored the only events are some random DCOM related items and an "improper shutdown" flag. I was convinced it was a...
I've tried peeking in this audio forum before, but I was too timid to ask wtf was going on. There's so much to take in.
Can someone point me in the direction (or give me a basic run down) of a place to start with all of this stuff?
What are all of these components in these pictures and...
I have an Asus RT-N66U router and have been a little disappointed with the wireless performance. I use it for several wireless devices as well as streaming media to a Roku and Chromecast wirelessly. Does anyone have a best practices guide or suggestions for a setup like this?
Dyne is right. It's just more of a preference now a day. Anyone trying to do something malicious will be using something like inssider anyway to find their targets, so you don't gain much there. Since you mentioned 'guests' I'd tell you to just leave it on so you won't have to spell it out for...

Hello folks. It's officially the holidays and time to upgrade my extremely outdated GPU. I'm currently rocking a MSI Radeon HD 4830  (i know...)
I'm looking to upgrade this within the next month. I'd like to drop about $150-$250 on a newer card. I realize that Black Friday is coming...
UPDATE: I've done the following to one of the problem machines:
- netsh winsock reset all
- remove & re-install network driver
- disjoin/rejoin to the domain
all to no success
Just relocated a handful of users' machines. Static IPs are set. After a reboot, the IP and netmask are gone. The gateway and 2 dns entries remain. Any idea why this is happening?
All windows 7 boxes. All on same domain. All have legit IPs. When I set manually and connect, no conflict...
