Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It is!
I struggled with this one as well. There is an obscure BIOS option to make it work,
In the BIOS under the Boot Menu, set
"Option ROM Messages" to "Force BIOS"
Good Luck!
My own opinion, I'm a huge fan of mini-itx for HTPC.
My latest HTPC project is with an antech isk-310 case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129081), celeron G530, ceton tuner, and foxcon motherboard.
It's quiet, doesn't use much power, and gets the job done.
I just got the 17" mbp i5.
I'd go with the 17". For $200 more you get a bigger screen, better resolution, more video ram and a slightly faster processor. I would also lean towards the 7200 drive.
I have to rant here for a second ..
I had an ASUS ATI 4850 (one of the first ones), and after a while, I started getting red lines on the screen. If I move the PCB of the card, it resolve the issue (bad traces maybe??)
Long story short, I RMA the card, and in the meanwhile, I replace it...
I ended up buying a 680i board a while back, that stopped working. I talked to support, and they had me RMA the motherboard.
After a couple weeks BFG sent me a motherboard, however the board itself looked damage and had traces exposed on the motherboard. I tried the motherboard anyway...
There is one on here for speeding 47 in a 35 mph zone. Didn't know you could arrest over under 15 over the limit.
I thought VA was bad.
Seems like a gross violation of privacy
I just RMA'd a motherboard with BFG .. I'm extremely satisfied with their customer service and RMA process
The phone tech guy had the motherboard codes memorized .. pretty impressive
