Does anyone know if the SATA controller for the Mac Mini supports port multiplication?

I've got an external storage project/hack in mind....

Unfortunately Google isnt turning up much info on whether or not the MCP79 supports PM, I would love to know this too, I've been wanting to get one but storage is an issue.

Do you have a Microcenter or Fry's around, I would just try it and if if it doesn't work return the multiplier, of course that would be a hassle with newegg, but I know I've seen them at microcenter.

Let us know how this project progresses, that would be an awesome find.

What about just using a NAS (network attached storage). Gigabit ethernet should provide some good speeds.
