I didn't see any benefit for me unless your going for a big OC (higher multiplier) so I went witth the i7 930. Hoping the LGA 1336 socket will allow for me to upgrade to a faster processor in a year or two without having to buy a new motherboard.
Good info about the voltages. I'm hoping to dive into a light overclock on my i7 930 pretty soon. I got the board setup last week and setup my Raid 5 this weekend.

Upgraded my Q9550 to a i7 with this board last week. Seems to be a pretty good board. My only complaints are things I knew about before purchasing (No PATA, Only 1 PCI slot which is unusable if you are running a big graphics card in the top slot)
