Now its up to 6629 sectors. I did the long drive test with Sea Tools and it said it repaired 98 sectors, but I guess that didn't work. It doesn't seem like I lost any data or anything is wrong, but I guess I'll RMA.
So I did that online analysis of my hard drive through Speedfan and it says that I have 6555 pending sectors, 6555 offline uncorrectable sectors, and that I should replace my hard drive. I was wondering if just reformatting would fix this. Would using one of those programs that totally wipe the...
Are you gaming or are you looking for good sound quality? If both, then you really want then you really need the Auzen Prelude. If you want a cheap card with good sound, try looking for the Chaintech AV-710.
I doubt it. Overclocking a GPU doesn't raise fps that much. The g92 GTS is faster than the GT which is faster then the g80 GTS so I don't think overclocking could raise the performance that far.
Yeah overclocking would give you a higher score, though I doubt it would help much in most games. I got 12.3k with an e4500 clocked to 3ghz and an 8800gts.
So according to the Overclocking guide above and other places I searched, the T.junction max is 85C, but Coretemp reports it as 100C. Which one is right? Right now I have my e4500 overclocked from 2.2ghz to around 2.9ghz and at load the DTS is around 45C so that would mean I'm only at 35C if 85C...
All thats there is low-level refresh settings, low-level desktop color schemes, and graphics system diagnostic report. I may just reformat if I can't figure this out.
I can't even get to the overclock section. It's not there. I just tried installing drivers for the monitor but that didn't work. Also it looks like ATITool isn't identfying my card correctly. It says 8800 GTS for the device but under it the chip name is blank, it says memory type is SDR and that...
Version 2.06 ATITool says my card isn't being used by Windows, and to fix it, go to display settings and enable the monitor output of my card. It is enabled so I don't know what to do now. Has anyone else had this problem?
When I click customize, it only shows refrech rate settings, color scheme, and diagnostics report. It seems like all of the overclocking utilities aren't working. I just tried coolbits, but I don't see any clock settings in the nvidia control panel. I have Vista 32-bit is that means anything.
Rivaturner won't allow me to overclock or look at the temps of my card. When it starts it says my drivers aren't supported(169.25) so do I have to wait for an update or can I edit something in the power user tab. I tried forcing the driver version but that didn't work. Also ATItool doesn't work...
