Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Other thing I was thinking for the purpose of figuring out what the problem is. Should I try running both PSU's? 1 PSU for mobo/cpu and the other running the GPU? I would imagine that even if both PSU's were a problem, they should still be able to handle such a small load, right?
If I were to...
I have been having this issue since I built my computer a couple weeks a go. Rather often, my computer will randomly restart when I am loading a game (doesnt always happen, but maybe 60% of the time?). I would normally say that its a PSU issue, but I have tried 2 different PSU's with the same...
I had heard that there were a lot of issues with gen 4 GPU's being used with gen 3 risers in gen 4 slots. And from my understanding using gen 4 for GPU's is basically pointless, I figure I may as well just set the gpu slot to gen 3 and not worry about it. I just did not know if its one setting...
Lets say for certain, I will be using it as a 3.0 cable (I dont know, but assuming worst case scenario). I just dont know if the speed of the ssd drive is tied to the the speed of the gpu. I dont know if you can configure one as 3.0 (gpu) and one as 4.0 (drive)
Im building a new computer in a SFF case and in doing so I will be utilizing a gpu riser cable (pcie 3.0). What I am not sure about is if I do this and configure it accordingly in the bios, will that limit all other PCIE to 3.0 as well? So the root of my question is this, since I will be using a...
Yesterday I installed windows 10 on a new hard drive in my old rig. I use a GTX 560 for one monitor and a 275 for the other. As far as I can remember, I did not have any problems setting this up with windows 7. However after installing drivers for the 560, my computer did not recognize the 275...
Interesting. I guess I was under the assumption that SLI was purely for 1 monitor and that plugging in a second monitor to either graphics card, while in SLI, would either a: not let the second monitor work, b:prevent SLI from doing its job, or c: not work at all.
So to sum up. I can use 2...
Is is possible to run an SLI setup for 1 monitor and have a 3rd, crappier, graphics card for a second monitor. Id like to get some high quality performance without sacrificing my second monitor.
Similar question with regards to this: If this is possible, can I run a 3rd monitor (TV) from the...
That sounds like a possibility... Connected the charger to the PSU and tried to turn it on again. This time, the fan spun substantialy more, but still didn't turn/stay on.
Of there any way to get rid of this problem?
When I try to start my stand alone power supply by shorting the green pin to a black pin, the fan makes one rotation at most and then stops. The is no voltage across any of the radios and ground.
I'm going to be using it as a power supply for and rc car charger.
Is there anything I'm...
Is there any way I can plug an internal hard drive into my esata port on my laptop? I would like to copy all of my files from my desktop to my laptop before I reinstall windows. Normally, I would use this:

but since...
