$500ish I think. The very first desktop I built I put a gtx 480 in which i later added a 2nd. They ran at a cool 105c! I bought a 7970 on its release for around the same price. Since those I have been buying mid grade cards.

I use the DXRacer racing series chair. I'm rarely in it over 2 hours but is always very comfortable. The few 5+ hour sessions I have had I still don't get sore sitting in it. Im 6"1, 200 pounds an loosing. It worked great back when i was 230 though.

I've had the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for around 5+ years, still going strong and only $30. Nothing fancy but has always worked good for the flying in battlefield and flight sim games.
Thought I had the same issue, turn out you have to use the included Power brick and use the thicker the two cables they send you. Every other configuration I tried results in plugged in not charging. There is something special about that cable.

I did the bios, wireless, Bluetooth and chip set updates. Between the bios and chip set the thing just seems faster all around, biggest difference I have noticed is youtube and nextflix videos quit lagging at the start. The Bluetooth update seems to help the keyboard reconnect better. Not sure...
