Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Already tried replacing the battery. That did not work. I have never actually flashed BIOS before (I have only used 3rd party apps to do it) so I don't know exactly how. Anyways, I tried to create a DOS boot disk so that I could flash the BIOS but for some reason none of my diskettes are any...
I am putting together a new system. however when I try to boot up I get the "cmos checksum error". This occurs even with default settings. When i try to change the cd drive to the first boot device I save and exit but I get a message on screen that says no video signal and I have to reset the...
In the disk manager it does not show a name where the other disk has a name (c: ). I mean in the "volume" column. It says disk 1 in the graphical view though.
When I ran "cmd" then used the command it says the drive or path is not valid. I typed " "chkdsk 1" then tried "chkdsk disk1" and...
Yes it is partitioned. But when I do "chkdisk DRIVELETTER" the command prompt seems to appear for a split second and then is gone. Also, the drive is not given a letter it is given a number.
I need to access the data on a drive that runs windows 98. I tried to set the drive as a slave to my computer that runs XP. I can see the drive when I go into my cmos but I can't see the drive when I boot up. Is this because the drives have different OS's? How can I fix this. Also, can I...
If you put dual channel memory in a board that doesn't support dual channel will the memory still work?
Also, I don't know what 2t or 1t means. All I know is that you use 2t when you fill all four mem slots on a board. Is this correct? What does it mean? Do you have to configure the board in...
I can run my Opteron 148 @ 2.7ghz @ 1.36v (stock). Howvever, I can get to 2.9ghz @ 1.5v.
Actually, I set the voltage to 1.525 but it reads with smartguardian and cpuz as 1.5v. It also performs load at 40C. What does anyone here think. Is the extra .14v - .165v worth the extra .2ghz?
The DFI LP UT nF4 Ultra-D can be modded for SLI, that is if you know how to. However, the DFI LP UT nF4 SLI-D is supposed to be comprable to the Ultra-D except already ready for SLI. That is what I would go for. Also, the board is not the only thing that can determine your OC. The major factor...
