I can run my Opteron 148 @ 2.7ghz @ 1.36v (stock). Howvever, I can get to 2.9ghz @ 1.5v.
Actually, I set the voltage to 1.525 but it reads with smartguardian and cpuz as 1.5v. It also performs load at 40C. What does anyone here think. Is the extra .14v - .165v worth the extra .2ghz?
 
Hell Yes,
You can easily cool your cpu at those volts. just don't push it past that point.
And you better have a good HSF also,but you must if you get those pretty low temps already.

1.525 is alittle high but as long as it runs cool then you should be fine.

If it's load at 2.9 ghz then your fine. IMO anyways... :D

You got alittle more speed that makes alittle more heat but you are definitely not pushing the limits. ;)
 
I am new to OC'ing so I just needed some opinions. Thanks. Any other significantly different comments are still welcome. :D
 
sounds like a great overclock result to me 40C load at 2.9Ghz thats fantastic.
 
You only need to worry about the temp if it gets above the 55c range, your well within the limits and should definately do it. I'd even go higher if that were me.
