Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
just to update for those who are interested. someone on another computer forum post this:
so I retested it using "0" instead of random data and here's the result:
finally bit the bullet and got a Corsair Force 3 Series 240GB SATA3 SSD. got everything up and running and ran CrystalDiskMark, and got this result:
seems kinda slow to me for a Sata3 SSD. I'm pretty sure it's plugged into a Sata3 port and is set to AHCI mode. I'm new to the world of SSD...
cools really well but it's very noisy with the fans on high speed. I have my 2600K OC to 4.8@1.28V and it kept it under 60C after 3 hours of Prime 95. the software that control the fan speed is pretty much a joke. basically it's low or high. the pump packed it in about 5 weeks of use. started...

finally decided to do a new build and upgrade from my Q9550. I realize that OCing the 2600K is totally different than the 775 socket CPUs. is there an idiots guide to overclocking an I7 somewhere?
just picked up an Antec High Current Gamer 620W Power Supply since it was on sale. I plugged it into the wall socket, but the cooling fan doesn't come on when I turn the switch on. it's going to be a few months before I do my new build, but if my P/S isn't working, I like to exchange it now so...
