Less the drone itself more the technology that performs the landing...

Hey phoenicis!! You're famous (sort of?) "Linac900Ext7Xc2 is at 3.271870%, found by [H]phoenicis, an increase of 0.005441% over the last week." Posted on the Muon1 Facebook page (just periodic updates about how the different lattices are doing and the overall project. Congrats :)

You are correct! Though there were some changes to our firewall and now the workstations cant auto send results so i have to take the results files home and send them like that. Oh well! Makes for amusing points dumps haha.

This sounds very interesting to me. Is it part of the DC vault at all? And how easy is it in BOINC to limit a project to one WU at a time? It's been awhile since i dug around in the settings.

Just saw this pop up on my Slickdeals RSS feed. Kill-a-Watt P4400 @ Newegg for $17 w/free shipping Not sure how long it will last.

He says in the video the hand powered one is $4, not the other one.

Haha Phoenicis. How's it feel to be on the other end of the stick? ;)

Phoenics, I love you. Worry not :D Every time you pass me it makes me want to spend money! Come march we should be getting new workstations at my work. HOPEFULLY some SB hex cores. I can really put the afterburners on over the weekends at that point! ;D

Oh joy, I get to be passed by Phoenicis in another project! ;) The help is certainly welcomed, though. Haha

Don't be so sure about that :D http://www.amazon.com/Angry-Birds-Knock-Wood-Game/dp/B004U52VPS

But changing the name would require a new key bound to the new name, I assume?

Congrats man :)

Thanks for the tips Donuts! I'm leaning towards Cosmology now. Do you guys think it'd play nice at 7 threads on an 2600K with 8gb of ram? Also, if i were to pause it mid solution does it free up the ram? I typically pause it to play an hour or two of games then resume the "solve".

With the Yoyo contest over do we have any other targets in mind? I was thinking about switching back to muon but the gap between us and the next team is scary -_-.

So, I woke up this morning and my computer room was only 50°F!! I'd say it's about time for me to turn on some GPU folding power... Should help heat the whole of my upstairs lol. Going by Sazan's list 3 pages back the "highest" AMD available project on the BOINC list is Collatz so I'll be...
