Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yes it is possible. I had an old computer that came with a Radeon x200 onboard graphics card, and I added a x700 PCI-E graphics card. I connected 1 monitor to one, and a second monitor to the other. It worked fine. They are not SLI-ED so they cannot help each other for one task, but for running...
Get the Zalman 9700. It is huge and awesome. My Q6600 @ 3.01 GHZ idle 30-36 100% load 48 max.
Just make sure to read the directions carefully, and be prepared to unknowingly get cut from the heat fins.
The game seems to have all cameras act as they are real cameras, cameras that shake a lot and make the game look like your fps is going to shit, when in reality its not.
I have a Q6600 G0 stepping, OC'ed to 3.01 (334x9) and it never gets hotter than 45 on full load. I am using CoreTemp to monitor heat, because speedfan gives me readings that are way too low to be true.
In Crysis it effects the atmosphere of the game a lot.
For example I know without it at high you cannot get the sunshafts on(unless using a hacked config)
I forgot to add that the audio was horrible no matter if I used my old computers pci sound card(which does work in my old computer), or if I used my on-board sound that it is messed up in XP.
I would recommend the Sea Sonic 700 Watt power supply. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151031
I have it and it is incredibly silent, it is modular, and it is efficient. It may be more expensive than others, but the cables are long, and it is made at a higher standard of...
Maybe somehow moving the mouse left to right takes a screenshot, either from the game, or a screenshot program. It happed to me with the "S" key a while ago with xfire, I was wondering why the fuck the game lagged when I was moving backwards. When I exited xfire showed me a few hundred screen...
The EVGA 8800 GT KO is a great card, but it runs really hot with stock fan speeds in a well ventilated case. Make sure to manually set the fan speeds over the stock 10% speed.
I would probably assume that they are machine packed as the damage seems to be the same in every case on here, because machines would do it the same way every time, while a worker would have some variation in the product, and eventually see that he is bending the cards.
I have an EVGA 8800 GT KO, have multiple 120 mm exhaust fans, and a 120 mm intake fan from the front blowing directly onto the card. Also I have a Antec P182 case which has enough vents in the back to let out hot air from the video card.
Many people have been commenting on the 8800 GT's...
I bought a Zalman 9700 nt, and it came with Zalman's thermal paste. With my Q6600 G0 @ 3.01GHZ, 100% on all cores, it never gets above 47C. When I am browsing the internet or listening to music, it is at 34-39 depending on ambient temperatures.
