I forgot to add that my system uses a nvidia graphics card and my brother has the same problem with his cinemahd monitor as well.
Has no one ever heard of this problem before?
I have a 21" cinemaHD apple monitor that I'm using with my windows desktop computer and for some reason when I first turn on the computer the monitor refuses to go into sleep mode.
The power button on the side even stops working. It'll just sit there displaying the desktop until I unplug it...
I have a TT LCS and don't have enough of the green UV tubing that comes
with the case to complete the loop I'm creating so I went to HD and checked out their selection of tubing and only found the cheapo Vinyl type.
The tubing is 3/8" ID and seems pretty thin walled. It also has a rating of...
My family built a koi pond in the backyard a while back and when it was finished we ended up with a lot of 45mil EPDM Rubber left over from the pond's lining.
I already used some of it to make a vibration absorbing gasket for the fans attached to my computer's radiator. Not sure how well it...
Air compressor works amazingly well. But if you do have one to use be careful you set the air pressure a little lower then the setting your sibling used the day before to drive nails with.
Bent capacitors anyone?
Luckily the connections weren't damaged but scared the crap outta me...
I'm saving up to replace the system my brother put together.
Not sure on components yet since it'll be a couple months at least before I can really look into it.
I'd also like to apologize for taking so long for to reply. I've been on and off my brother's laptop computer while I was trying...
That is a really cool idea. I also enjoy woodworking but haven't had much time for it lately.
Your idea of a split computer system is very interesting.
In the past the only cases I've seen people make out of wood are
just wooden versions of traditional pc cases. Well traditional but very...
My brother changed the set up on our LAN because we need more then 4 connections now. He added a new hub to our already existing hub a while back.
Question I'm wondering about is does this configuration slow down our access to the cable modem and/or does it lower the available bandwidth...
Sorry about the argument.
And I apologize w1retap. I over reacted.
For SarverSystems, what exactly should I be asking for
if I call for a price quote? I tried calling Kinko's just to check
what they'd charge and they didn't know what "transfer film" was. Even explained what I was trying...
Yeah I plan on using some repostionable spray adhesive to attach the masks to the surface. Anyone have alternatives I can use besides heavy weight paper?
I'm painting a friends case and was wondering if anyone
has used card stock type paper as a stencil?
My plan is to paint the base coat (white) then apply
the stencils to mask off the areas I want to keep white and
paint over them with red and then mask off some more areas and finally paint...
Actually I just wanted a site I could get a replacement USB connector or a guide on how to make my own.
As for dogs eating things, this one has eaten the USB connector for that mouse,
3 shoes from different pairs of shoes, two credit cards left on a computer desk,
quite a few...
Bought a Logitech V200 Cordless Notebook Mouse a few weeks back and
then my dog ate the wireless USB plug you use to connect it to the laptop.
Is there any way to replace it or to build a new one from another
USB device? I know terribly dumb question but I didn't send in the warranty card...
