Bought a Logitech V200 Cordless Notebook Mouse a few weeks back and
then my dog ate the wireless USB plug you use to connect it to the laptop.

Is there any way to replace it or to build a new one from another
USB device? I know terribly dumb question but I didn't send in the warranty card
and figuring Logitech will charge me full price of the mouse itself just to replace the
adapter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why do some dogs eat practically anything? Are our pets really that stupid?

Check out eBay. I did a search for "Logitech V200" and it came back with >50 results. You could probably get one under $10.

Then you'll have a spare mouse in case the dog eats that too. lol. :p

Kill your dog. And actually it's the plastic on the things that they can't distinguish from their play toys. Same reason why my Ray Ban Aviators were destroyed by my dog. You give him a rubbery play toy and it has a smell. You give him Ray Ban Aviators and it has that same rubbery smell for the coated ear pieces at the end. Hmm object #2 must be a toy as well. Chomp chomp, goodbye toys.

I call this BS, it looks like you just wanted a free mouse.

yeah my hamster just finished off my C2D E6600 and my 8800GTX, now the mentally challenged children at the orphanage cant have the new computer i promised them. For gods sake think of the children, won't someone please help me!

Actually I just wanted a site I could get a replacement USB connector or a guide on how to make my own.

As for dogs eating things, this one has eaten the USB connector for that mouse,
3 shoes from different pairs of shoes, two credit cards left on a computer desk,
quite a few pens, and I don't how many bottle caps from the bottled water
we buy...she likes to chew them up and crush them flat then spit them back
out. :(

hurry!

this is what you do:

"get a spaghetti drainer, find some laxatives... feed laxes to your dog, and then let it poop. remember to put the drainer under, and continue to do this, till you find your usb adapter :)"

Gee, dogs these days.....they used to be satisfied just eating homework :p

I would email Logitech and see what they can do for you....they might just be entertained enough by your story that they will send you what you need. At least they may point you in the right direction.

I donno whats up with yall dogs.. My dog knows better not to eat anything besides food.
