As far as the typical time and days for the Best Buy drops, Archaea gave the most accurate answer in the post here.
Along with this, I would recommend joining the StockDrops Discord and signing up for the notifications for the card you are after.
 
I highly recommend the EVGA queue if you want an Ampere card. You don't have to play games with the shopping cart once you're informed. The 8 hours you have from notification means that product is being held specifically for you during that time.

The 3% was taken off my recent order automatically when I clicked my notification link, but I've already had an account for quite a while now (Elite member since purchasing their GTX 780 in 2013). Don't know if that is different for new accounts.

I tried this last time, the "leave it in your cart" trick to make it quicker for next time, but eventually after the drop, the card was automatically removed from my cart and moved to "saved"
Not sure if something has changed since then.

I've found it helps if you add all the items you want to your "saved items" list and view that page for a quick snapshot, it will display the "please wait" under the appropriate cards, when the drop goes live.

You have got to be shitting me. The one day in months, MONTHS that I decide to get my haircut over lunchbreak.

So here's a hot tip I just found out, the next drop is apparently scheduled for whenever I am next away from my computer :banghead:

I don't know. All my buddies have been getting cards on the subsequent drops if they get it into the cart on the prior one. I'm just going by what they said. I've never actually gotten a card from any BB drops.

Yeah, hopefully that works out. Like many others I got close but no luck yet with BBY.

Not quite sure how to estimate, both cards that I have on notify are still listed on the actual release date of the card, one of them did have an update from the previous day though! Apparently the notify line moved 15 seconds :D Basically I have zero chance in hell of getting any card that I had on notify.

The only card I got through the notify was a 3070. I assume that I will get a link to a 3060 soon though because I am in the next couple minutes according to that link.

Surprised I actually got it, was in before all the notifications went out, but still had the text verification from BB to go through, and text verification through my Credit Card before I could finish the transaction.

3060 and 3090 up on the newegg shuffle in 20 minutes, $539 and $1919 respectively. I kind of hope I don't win due to the terrible pricing.

they had 1060 6gb for $219, 1660 vanilla for $229 I think, 1660ti for $269, 2060ko for $289, 2060 super for $389. I got a pair of 2070 non supers for $450 a piece. Worst case scenario I sell them to get something better.

How did you get the alert on this one. Surprisingly, none of my discord group alerts triggered, do you have distill I/O?

I'm just curious how fast those cards went byebye. I get e-mail notifications from this thread and I clicked your link almost instantly upon receiving the e-mail thread. Those cards seemed to disappear almost immediately!!?!?
