They are an odd place, but KFC did in Japan what Coca-Cola did everywhere else. That's really strange.
I see, maybe their representation of Santa Clause is Col. Sanders Like ours (USA) is from the Coca-Cola.They are an odd place, but KFC did in Japan what Coca-Cola did everywhere else.
In 1974, KFC took the marketing plan national, calling it Kurisumasu ni wa Kentakkii, or Kentucky for Christmas. It took off quickly, and so did the Harvard-educated Okawara, who climbed through the company ranks and served as president and CEO of Kentucky Fried Chicken Japan from 1984 to 2002.In 1974, KFC took the marketing plan national, calling it Kurisumasu ni wa Kentakkii, or Kentucky for Christmas
Did you guys not know about this gem?

The KFConsole is also VR ready and supports ray tracing. Cooler Master also says the KFConsole offers "smooth and fluid high-frame-rate gameplay at up to 240fps for all games, with support for 240Hz output on 4k displays."
But the real game-changer (so to speak) is the KFConsole's Chicken Chamber, where you can place precooked chicken to stay warm while you game.

REAL OR FAKE?
This is 100% BS. 240Hz at 4K? They must be smoking more than chicken for me to believe that. The KFConsole is also VR ready and supports ray tracing. KFC in Japan is a whole different animal then they crap we get here. Just check some one like Mike Chen on youtube that does food stuff around the world. All the fast food chains on Asian markets looks leaps and bounds better then what we get in the states.WTH.....
Is KFC super popular in Japan?
ditto in Vietnam not even remotely close to what we have here...KFC in Japan is a whole different animal then they crap we get here. marketing speak.
I'm sure it can game at 4K*
I'm sure it can game at 240fps**
I'm sure it can output a 4K 240hz video signal***
doesn't say anything about doing all three together so technically it's not lying, but putting words next to each other make them sound more impressive
*at 30fps, medium settings
**at 1080P, low settings
***for 2D content
yep, I saw those specs too over at VideocardzTheir console is mainly a pc mostly
- Chassis: custom versions of the Cooler Master NC100 chassis

At some level I have to think this is all just a huge marketing ploy by the Harman group (owners of KFC amongst others). Everything from paying Lifetime to make a movie (which may be cheaper than running ads over a certain amount of time), to paying some company to make a "chicken console". I mean I know it's 2020, but nothing about it makes sense to anyone with a hint of reason. That machine is just foul. They're encouraging gamers to put greasy chicken inside the computer?
That's nasty. and not the good kind of nasty.
It makes a lot of sense. We are all here talking about KFC, so the marketing trick works.I mean I know it's 2020, but nothing about it makes sense to anyone with a hint of reason.
KFC chicken tacos ... quick, tell the ColonelWhats all this?! Mate, your confusing yourself for sure! Please reboot your augmented taste buds, mate. They are malfunctioning!!
OMG so good, I used the Babish recipe to make some KFC popcorn chicken and did that up into a taco.... so good.KFC chicken tacos ... quick, tell the Colonel
Blimey their real!!!View attachment 312100
Technically Harman is just a franchisee. Yum owns the KFC brand. This is definitely marketing though. I can’t think of anyone who would actually take a KFConsole seriously on anything but an “It’s so different I have to have it” level.Harman group (owners of KFC amongst others)
In potato mode it’s not hard to hit those numbers. This is 100% BS. 240Hz at 4K? They must be smoking more than chicken for me to believe that.
Ray tracing isn't where it needs to be yet in any card, AMD or Nvidia. Not enough AAA titles to give a toss either. (26 games TOTAL as of right now and most aren't "Great Games")KFC about to benchmark better in ray tracing than AMD. I'm dead!
You really should expose yourself to japanese culture. This is seriously not even a stretch past mostly normal. I'm not sure its possible to understand as an american without years of study. Like PHD level shit. That's really strange.
I enjoy old Japanese culture, but have no interest in J-pop.You really should expose yourself to japanese culture. This is seriously not even a stretch past mostly normal. I'm not sure its possible to understand as an american without years of study. Like PHD level shit.
