The CPU tasks take like 100 seconds. The GPU tasks are taking around 250 - 300 or so seconds.

With one task running, I'm seeing 96 to 98% GPU usage and 3 minute run times on a 1080ti. That is over 1 million PPD, if my calculations are right. The GPU is staying at 1900MHz even though I'm using 80% power limit.

First time on a DC project. Running a R9 270X and a HD 7790.. Sitting at 146,603 with about 7 mins on the R9 and 16 mins on the 7790

Edit.. 11 mins on the R9 it seems. It's gotten slower since I first checked but cards running fine

Do we talk strategy in private anywhere? Like do other teams spy on us?

Currently running on Enigma:

2 WU's per card:

1 - HD 7970
2 - 280X's
1 - 380X
1 - HD 7870

1 WU per card:

1 - 980ti
1 - 780ti
2 - GTX 770's

Newegg had the EVGA 1080ti Black Edition for $749 this evening, so I picked one of those up since it was the first reasonable price I had seen for a 1080 ti in months. However, it won't make it here in time for the sprint, unfortunately.

Any of the XtremeSystems guys reading this?

We got a nice close race going on.

I hope your private communications channel isn't called SuperSecretCommunications......or SSC.....'cuz I'd hate to call y'all copy-cats. ;)

You guys are catching up to GridCoin. WOW! Very nice!

we don't need a private channel ... we are actually all mind-connected ... we are one ... we are the BORG ...

You guys are welcome. I overclocked my 760gtx a bit more (7000 memory to 7004!!), so that's likely why we skyrocketed ahead.

Go easy on that. Alot of people don't overclock for DC as bad results can negatively affect a project. Keep an eye on your results and make sure they don't give any errors

FedEx surprised me and delivered the 1080ti this morning. It has been added to the above GPU's. So far, it looks to be 50-75% faster on the Enigma tasks than my 980ti. It runs a little cooler, as well. (y)

Holy Cow.

We are only 7mil behind Gridcoin as of 12:15CST.

GET EM BOYS!

Edit: Us and XS are roughly = top 3 in League 1. nice!

How many watts is it pulling on Enigma?

6m behind GC.

When i get back from some errands, i'm gonna nurse my final down system back online.

I think we can take 'em.

I know. I have only had a handful of errors throughout my computing and it was all CPU related, also from overclocked. 90% of those were MCM in WCG.

Now that there is a break in the contests, I'm going to crunch a million points in both Einstein and Seti.

Already broke a million in:
Amicable
Asteroids
Collatz
Enigma
Gpugrid
Milkyway
PrimeGrid

Looking for more suggestions. ;) Einstein and Seti will just take a couple days.

Edit: Just signed up for Moo! Wrapper.
Edit2: Moo and Einstein should be up to 1 million by Tuesday. Haven't decided which CPU project to focus on first.

Gilthanis, RFGuy_KCCO & phoenicis are in the top 100 list of most 1M-point projects in our team. You can find the list in free-dc stats by clicking on your CPID and look for the table "Most Milestones" and click on the milestone that you are interested.

So far, I've 22 1M-point projects and in 247th spot.

In my quest to help the FB standings, and to also get to a million in as many current projects as possible, I've started a tally of the calculation times needed:
Numberfields: 32 days
RakeSearch: 15 days (This project has "optimized apps" that most people are using, projects complete in 1/10th the time: https://github.com/sirzooro/RakeSearch/releases/tag/v1.0)
NFS: 20 days
Universe: 20 days
SETI: Less than 10 days under Linux on my 1080TI.

Solid 3 months of crunch to get those 5 projects to a million. That would put me up to 13 projects at a million plus. There are so many BOINC projects that have come and gone; I look at the list of projects that other people have a million on and it is just completed project after completed project.

They should just merge their teams and be done with it. Xtreme.SETI.USA.Systems...well.. I take that back. They are too busy trying to propel other teams ahead of us too in hopes of nickle and diming points. Well... let's see what they can pull off. They will probably need a few more members from SETI.USA to really do it though.

They seem to be using something like guerilla tactics. pop up from nowhere, hit a project hard until noticed then vanish and move onto something else. I think we should keep track of the projects they are hitting and make sure that when we jump on them we are gaining more points back then what they took before moving on to other things. Not sure if its just to fuck with us or what the deal is.

How big is their team?

Which team? SUSA or XS?

XS has had 2,789 users over the years and currently have 123 active members.
SUSA has had 18,837 over the years and currently have 1,100 active members.

We have had 776 users over the years and currently have 95 active.
