980 Ti @ $599?

I hope EVGA has Hydro Coppers available at launch, and none of that "Limit 1 per household" garbage!

lmao, 800 bucks? If that $650 rumor is not true, you can suck it Nvidia. Let's see if AMD is crazy enough to do the same. If so, they can both suck it...

$649 is fine. $799, Nvidia is out of their friggin' minds. If people are willing to pay $800 for a video card, they'd have bought the Titan X already.

I agree.
$649 would also demonstrate that the Titan X is grossly overpriced.

Anyway, I may pick two of these babies for SLI galore!

So I can sell both my 980s for $900 this weekend, If I do it ill have to throw in a older 660GTX which im fine with. Im worried about 980 Ti launch date, Will it be on sale June 2/3?

The Titans have always been grossly overpriced. $649 is decent plus 390x could possibly drive down the price like the gtx 780

Rumors. No facts until June 2.

$649 is a good rumor ,but will have to leave room for pricing aftermarket coolers...

or

$699 launch, drop price to $600-$649 (for ref) when aftermarkets are available....

I am waiting for the cards to hit the stores. I won't be getting it at $800. If I was willing to part with $800 I'd have bought a Titan X already.

Ok I am with you, but how are all those online retailers pricing it close to $800? It cant just be a markup, no one is retarded enough to pay $150 over the so called MSRP price.

Retailers who do not have special relations with major manufacturers often put placeholders up on their websites for popular products; these placeholders often contain info that is completely made up. For example, Gamestop did it all the time, putting up placeholders for games with completely bogus release date information.

Supposedly will be $650 with the GTX 980 receiving a $50 price cut to $500 if you want to believe this -

http://benchlife.info/zotac-arcticstorm-vs-evga-hybrid-for-titan-x-05302015/

NDA was mentioned as June 1st 6:00am UTC+8

With the Titan X generally online for $1029-1049, it doesn't seem logical for the $350+ price difference from 980 to 980Ti. With 970 to 980 being a $220 difference and basically the same type of step up going from 980 to 980 Ti, with a 980 price drop, logically it would be $729.99 with certain online store doing maybe a $30 rebate.

My guess is $729.99. ;)

+1
C couldn't agree more. I am thinking $749-$799, at least at launch, and then price maneuvering once Fiji hits the market, with possibly a new Titan in the mix, with the X being dropped, in favor of the 980 Ti.

Makes me glad I only spent $300 on my 980 reference! :D

This is pure speculation but I wonder if maybe Nvidia could be doing some regional pricing even if it is unofficial.

Americans won't notice this typically as the goods are pegged to USD but in other major global markets technology prices have over the last little while received significant inflation due to the rise in valuation of the USD. This is something analysts have speculated may effect US exports particularly in this sector. It may not be surprising if firms do adjustments to better fit those areas.

So perhaps Asian markets might have lower prices which is another explanation for the difference in current numbers (Asian vs. western sources).

That's the new ASUS DC3.
I hope they keep making the old coolers, I hate triple-fan cards.

Those are some serious heatpipes though!

Yeah it looks like a sick render. I honestly don't care how many fans they use as long as it runs cool and is quiet.

I don't know who I'm kidding though I will probably pick up 2 reference cards and go with a custom loop.

My 780 would be comparable to right below a 290X correct? I'm also assuming that if those numbers are legit it was run at stock clocks.

Seems way too close to TX imo.
It should be 5-10% slower across the board.

Nope it seems perfectly fine

If 980ti has 100% of ROPs and TMUs of Titan X and 15/16 of shaders as shown in that review then game would have to use 100% of available shader power all the time to show 7% diffrence.

And with nvidia power targets and boosts we don't know if they are running same real world clock speeds.

It does not have the same number of TMUs so not sure what made you even think that. It has 176 TMUs if it is a 2816 core card and those specs have already been said anyway.

NDA should be lifting in 4 hours according to the Taiwan leak.
Seems weird to push out reviews @ 6 PM on a Sunday. Maybe we won't see it until tomorrow.

The guys who leaked those benchmarks Tainted posted say $649 also... so, in couple of hours hopefully i'll know if my good ol' 680 will have a successor picked out. Like choosing a new Pope :D Gimme some white smoke

Damn. Titan X performance for $649! Who can say no!? And with nVidia manipulating and dictating present and future PC ports; it's a no brainer.

I can say no, because low-end Fiji is probably going to crush this thing.
Why else would NV price it so low? They could move this card for $800 if they wanted to.

And they could have moved the 970 for WAY more than 330...

They wouldn't have moved as many though especially once the 3.5 gb debacle was revealed many more people would have returned the card if they can. Sometimes selling more for cheaper gains more profit than fewer for higher price. I'm sure they have people who studied economics to know exactly what price would gain nvidia the greatest profit.
