I think Valve won't repeat the 2010 event because many people were cheating.
I didn't buy anything from Steam Christmas Sale in 2010.

Well, I finally got the Far Cry 3 sale that I've been waiting for all sale long. Unfortunately, it's still $38....Looks like I'll be waiting a while longer.
How so? Now I'm curious what you mean.
I don't believe many other user bought much either, since it was a literal free for all.I didn't buy anything from Steam Christmas Sale in 2010.
Also sharing game saves to get achievements, to get more coal, to get more free games.people where cheating making multiple accounts using games bought via the humble bundle deals then sending all the gifts to the same person

You can always find a couple FC3 game keys from people on the For Sale section. I bought one last week for $17, awsome purchase.
Out of curiosity in what possible way can the 360 version look better than the PC version?
He's referring to the Coal events. How so? Now I'm curious what you mean.
This Christmas sale I haven't bought one game yet. Last years sale I spent $200.00.
If you have the Ultimate Edition, can you just use the texture pack for TA? Or do you need both? I'm confused since all the DA content is in TA and I only have HRG 2.0 installed. Many excellent Galactic Civilizations II mods can be found here.
This includes
The High-Resolution Graphics Mod v1.2 for Dark Avatar
The High Resolution Graphics Mod V2.0 for Twilight of the Arnor
and many others such as
Ultimate FX Mod for Twilight of the Arnor
Got burned on mark of the Ninja buying it 2 days ago for around $12 i believe on Steam.
^ I wouldn't recommend getting A-10 thru Steam...the Steam version doesn't really get the support the standalone version gets.
Anyone else voting for Quake?

Wait, was 3dmark11 75% off earlier? I see it's 50% until the sale ends, guess I missed it.
The new 3dmark is due out in January, so 3dmark11 will probably cheap all over the internet in a few weeks.Wait, was 3dmark11 75% off earlier? I see it's 50% until the sale ends, guess I missed it.
Pulled the trigger on Far Cry 3. Its not as cheap as I wanted it but I want to play it and for a pretty new game, 37 bucks is not so bad. I would have bought it of the for sale here in the forum but I really want it on either steam or gmg.
30 bucks for Skyrim then another 12.50 for the DLC? Fuck that. I don't want to play it that badly, especially now that it has been out for a long time and they're still trying to squeeze 60 per copy out of it new + 25 for the DLC. Blow me Bethesda.
Really? $30 is too much for countless hours of fun? Ok. I spent more on it in the spring sale. Just bought the DLC in this one, and it's money well spent.
Age doesn't matter. They won't lower the regular price until sales numbers drop to a certain level. Skyrim is still a goldmine for Bethesda. The point is that the game is old and should be cheaper. Their discounts are always on the full price when that game should cost $30 by now without discounts. Only 2 games never seem to go that much down, skyrim and the newest call of duty
keep view distance and especially shadows turned down a bit and it will help a lot. with max shadows even my 2500K at 4.4 takes a crap and gets the same low framerate at 800x600 as it does at 1920x1080 in some areas.Just to confirm before I break my budget and get the GTA pack Is it ok to run GTA 4 on older quad core CPU like my Cire i7 930? In the past I've heard it had some performance issues.
