It's simply unacceptable in 2011 and makes the game less interactive, sorry man, but you're wrong here, as you usually are.
It's not really a question of being 'wrong', Fail. It's really about a decision either working for you, or not working for you.
You almost make it sound like the decision made by Bioware was mine. Mike Laidlaw explained why Bioware made the decision they did - and I happened to agree with that decision. I saw right away what they were trying to do, and I thought it was a great idea.
So I'm wrong again - eh?
Actually, it's called having an opinion that doesn't coincide with yours.
By the way, have you bought this game yet? You're posting an awful lot in this thread, considering that you don't seem to own the game. There's no rule against this, obviously, but I think if I had done likewise in a thread for a game which I didn't own, or hadn't played, people would be pretty fed up, and would be saying to me, Wabe, at least buy the game before creating literally 50 posts about it. You should buy it, Fail, it's a really good RPG.
