I use these settings:
F-Stop f/5.5
Exposure time 1/100th sec
Iso 1600
Exposure Bias 0
Aperature 4.9
I would recommend using day light or some strong light (distracted/bounced from a opposite/side wall or ceiling to avoid reflections) from the top of monitor so you don't have to use such high iso. Tripod + mirror lock up if it is dslr + timed release/remote to achieve sharp image without noise. If you don't have tripod you can use chair/wardrobe/desk/etc to keep camera stable. Though as you own dslr those things might be known to you .
Generally high ISO = high noise = less detail/sharp image.
