it's goooood to relax...

I'd be lucky if I could have that much space in my dorm room with all of the equipment. What receiver is that?

The Receiver is a semi decent SLS Audio QG500AVR receiver i got third hand from my brother for free. It does the job for now.

What speakers are those?

They are SLS Speakers that came with the receiver. They are part of a 5.1 setup, but i have no way of properly hanging a 5.1 in the dorm so its 2.1 right now. The sub is what the printer is sitting ontop of.

yah my dorm was probably 10 by 10 and i had to share it with another person. oh the joys of college.

Its a nice dorm, I say it's cramped compared to the room back at my parents house. By luck of the draw, i got put into the most spacious dorm on the campus.

Nothing's really changed in the last 2yrs.

Workstation (and apparently i need to dust)

Thanks for responding to my PM. That's a decent size room. I think my computer room is 8x6? I gotta measure it tonight. It's really small though.

Man my friends and I are having a laugh riot pointing out "whats wrong" in some of these setups. Nothing huge but still..

Where the hell does that door go WonSR4?? I'd be creeped the hell out at night playing in front of an outward opening door. Boogey man lives in there!

Sounds like a fantastic way to spend a Wednesday night.

Looks like a Lian Li X500 or X2000 with a window, looks like the X2000 on the right and X500 on the left actually...

You are correct, except they are the ABS rebadged cases. ABS Canyon 695 on the right and the ABS Canyon 595 on the left. Thanks everyone for the positive comments.

The Blue is my main gaming desktop. The Red is 24/7 World Community Grid cancer and muscular dystrophy number crunching.

So, what's wrong with mine? :p

Here we go, running a modded G5 case and still rocking the oldschool dell 2005wfp

Up until end of November / early December some time I was still rocking my Dell 2405FPW. That vintage was great!

It soldiers on in my Stepsons new rig he got for Xmas.

Stepdad got himself a Dell U3011 for the holidays :p

Remember how expensive the 2405 was back when it first debuted? I paid about $1025 after a 15% coupon for mine. :p

workstation is finally worthy of being posted. Just built the desk today, great build quality for £40! Getting another monitor soon :D

FANTA FRUIT TWIST! :D

Gotta love the titanium finish on the HM, rocket. I considered that upgrade for my Embody but just couldn't justify adding that amount to the final cost since the purchase was already three times my original budget.

Great clean setup.

Yeah.

I seem to do this these days. I spend ~$1000 for a monitor every 5 years or so.

2001: 22" Iiyama Visionmaster Pro Diamondtron Based CRT. ~$1000 (can't remember if I got a good deal or not, it's been 10 years :p )
2005: 24" Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW ~$900 (20% coupon!)
2010: 30" Dell Ultrasharp U3011 ~$1200 (Some other coupon)

I wonder what I'll get in 2015? :p
