Hey man, what monitors are those? Great setup by the way! Always like the one display in widescreen and one display in portrait setups.

Just downsized to a smaller room. Figured I would take a picture so I'll remember what it looked like cleaned

From lowes. At one time they had a build your own section in shelving. Last time I went in there they removed that section. You could choose different shelves (size, color, and even glass) and legs (Height, color). Are those stands on each side from Ikea? Those would be ideal to put my printer on to save some desk space. Can you buy different length legs for them? I think I've seen someone else using them too in this thread.
This is my room.
How about that?

Velcro Tape. Ever since I ran into the stuff organizing a SAN rack with a Dell rep I have been hooked. So easy to rewire and re-use.Nice, nice, nice. I just picked up a Jerker and have been just glued to this thread. It has taken me a while to really look at how people are using them but you brought up some good stuff. I don't have the upper shelf system like you but you straight up velcroed(?) the router to the support and I really like how you put the inconspicuous HP WHS on the shelf. I have one shelf but have no clue what to do with it. I was going to put the router there but the cables try and pull it off the shelf.
Or is that straight electrical tape?
Thanks.Absolutely tremendous work on organizing your cables, lgestle.
Velcro Tape. ...
where can i get the jerker?
What is this little loner sitting in the corner? Is that your NAS? or a hardware firewall?
Way in the corner is the Windows Home Server box, then on top of the cabinet is the Motorola modem for Road Runner and a D-Link DIR-655.
I also have DIR-655. Great router. I bought it because it supports sharing of the USB devices through the router. I plugged in my USB harddrive in there and often time my computer couldn't connect to the USB harddrive and I have to reboot the router in order to get it working again. Have you experience that before? or you don't even use that feature?
Can I join in as well. I guess I'm now part of the Ikea community I assembled my new Galant today. It has the 'A' legs. Absolutely love it, it's beautiful. Especially compared to my old, small slide out drawer typical pc desk. This has so much space for me. 120cm x 80cm, and what's great is the adjustable leg height from 60 to 90cm, which is why I didn't go for the Jonas in the end but I very nearly did. My CM690 case is out of shot, sitting atop a small ikea metal filing cabinet.
