It looks ok but even with all assists off it seemed too easy compared to gtr evo and Shift. none of the cars in the demo could oversteer even if you tried to.

Forza 4 is already announced for next year? For me and some others, this title is just a filler for the real deal coming out sometime next year.
All cars are unlocked by default.I hope to god that you can unlock cars
I got a ton of credits in the more difficult races and the longer races. No problems there in FM2.In forza 2, when you win a race, you hardly got any credits. Its as if their was "more" incentives in winning against the ai then against real human opponents? shouldn't it be the other way round?
Than Forza is your game. The online stomps any other online racing game on consoles.Like Footy games, i care more about online than offline
Can I ask what sort of times you were pushing with the GT3? Because getting sub one minute is anything but easy... and it absolutely will send you spinning off into a wall if you push too hard with it.I'm with you here, that was my impression when playing the demo. All aids off and it was like riding a bicycle, very easy.

Methinks he's referencing GT5...to each his own I suppose.
Might that have something to do with the fact that it's the exact same track?
Take it from someone who has both games in front of them... they don't. The better lighting and reflections stand out a mile when you're actually playing, even on the old tracks.
But if its miles better than forza 2 then shouldn't that be obvious comparing like for like? Whenever people compare graphics they "normally" compare the same scene/object/level for comparison.
As others have mentioned, it's very easy to tell the difference if you load the demos for both and verify for yourself within game, not replay videos (ie replay videos that are created post race). I found it odd that they used all replay videos for Forza 3, minus maybe 5 seconds of actual game play. In that 5 seconds of actual gameplay video of Forza 3 they either reduced the picture to compare to multiple or cut it half to compare it to shift. However, both Forza 2 and Shift had full screen game play shots most of the video.http://www.gametrailers.com/video/laguna-seca-forza-motorsport/57418?type=flv
bloody hell, forza 2 and 3 almost look the same!!
He is a self proclaimed Sony fan. What do you expect.

So I think it's fair to say Replay videos look very similar compared to Forza 2 and Forza 3 on the same track that both of them share, but gameplay there's a big difference.
Quite shocking you would even post this mate, if you actually played it mate. Obviously you haven't mate
Obviously you are entitled to your own opinion, but it seams you spend more time finding a needle in a hay stack with third party comments and reviews vs actually giving your own opinion when a demo is available..

This.
who is? you sure your not a self pro claimed MS fan?
I have the "real full version" of FM3 and it looks as good if not better than the demo. For some reason the car models certainly look better anyway, though it may be that's just because they've paid more attention to some cars than others (the Focus for example looks great).i have given my own opinion of the demo and it does indeed look good but i posted that video thinking those video footages are from the real full version of fm3.
We were not talking about MS fans. Just talking about you and your bias.
That aside, anyone who has been a regular of this thread for a while should be used to JM's negativity by now. It's not a new thing, nor is it going to go away.
Actually JM you've repeatedly said how much you hate MS (because of your broken consoles and whatnot) and how much better the PS3 is. People aren't pulling that opinion of you out of thin air, they just have a reasonable memory. You seem to be the one with the bias response. So do you own both systems? what gave you the impression that i a person who owns and games on both consoles is a sony fanboy?
No, but don't be surprised when people notice how negative you are about one certain game, and how positive / defensive you are about another.Do i have to be fully positive about this game in order to post on this thread and not be called a sony fanboy?

Believe it or not it is quite possible to have both consoles and be a fanboy of just one.

But anyway, I'm done with this discussion. It wont lead anywhere.
FM2 didn't have split screen, did it?
FM2 didn't have split screen, did it?
of course it did. I guess you never played fm2
I guess not Johnny. You are just too cool for me.
