Not sure if this is legit or not. But according to reliable sources this is gonna be the new xbox name.
What's the next one going to be called, Infinity+1? beyond Infinity?
See, Microsoft knows how to get people excited. I'm already looking foreword to this console.
They should just call it the New Xbox©®.
Isn't that what killed Coke back in the day![]()
I bet after this we won't get another console for another 10 years lol.
for all we know this could be the last console cycle.
CONSOLE GAMING IS DYING!![]()
That would suck because it would mean that PC graphics would never improve drastically.
Really the only thing I'm hoping for with these new consoles next year is that we finally get some actual updated graphics. Similar to how Crysis was the graphics powerhouse benchmark of 07-10
Um. R U serious?
If consoles didn't exist, and PC gaming was the only gaming, we would be FAR FAR FAR ahead of where we are at this point.
Drastic jumps? Probably not. Higher level fidelity constantly being fed into our systems? Yes. In other words. We wouldn't have to stagnate graphically for 10 year periods while we wait for the slow kids in the room to catch up.
Xbox 8 or Infinity, whatever you want to call it, will be built on Windows 8 core to provide seamless integration with your Windows 8 phone, Surface, PC, and Xbox. Buy an Xbox game and drop it in your PC's optical drive and play away. Use your Windows phone or Surface tablet for in-game menus and navigation or as a Wii-like remote with your Kinect. Enjoy Xbox Infinity, the last console you will ever need.

Didn't want before... now want...
I think they should call it the Xbox 420.
If consoles weren't around, a lot of game developers wouldn't be around.Of course if consoles weren't around we'd be light years ahead.

Xbox Infinite (fees, microtransactions and other dick-in-your-bank-account practices)
I'm just excited we FINALLY have a new generation to look forward too this year. It's been far too long since we've been able to get excited about new hardware.
