xbox 360 dashboard update

The new dashboard just F'ing sucks! Its my opinion, so agree or disagree but I sure hate it.
 
Can not stand the advertising. I pay why are there ads. :mad: Netflix defiantly took a step in the opposite direction.
 
Haven't spent much time with it yet, but it seems overly complicated to get things done anymore.
After updating I was having major issues with Gears of War 3 lockups on the launch 360 in my room, leading me to delete and reinstall the game to resolve the problem. No problems with the launch Elite or Slim models thus far.
Another problem since the update is that I have to reset my router every single time more than one 360 is online, otherwise the others get booted off. I already have port triggering enabled on 53, 80, 88 and 3074. I haven't made any changes to anything on my home network. This is becoming quite aggravating...
 
I basiclly hate it. The part I dislike the most is that it takes more controller inputs to get to where I want to go.

I usually just hit the middle button and do what I need from there

LOL.. yup, thats what i do for most part. I havent seen where the HD DVD menu is yet. I tend to play my dvds in the hd drive to save the main drive. On my 4th xbox, and the last one a bad cd drive. So this generation been funny. You have the ps3 which is losing features, and ms which is making worse and worse interface. Heh. cant win either way!
 
What a pain it is to even do simple things now. Nope, I don't like it at all. I guess those 4 people that have a Windows phone probably feel right at home, though.
One thing I will say - the UFC app is wonderful. They gave everyone who signed up on Friday a free viewing of UFC 142 last night and it looked great. Just as good as watching it on normal TV with no stream hiccups or issues. That's one more little motivator for me dropping cable eventually.
 
installed it and it's meh.......it's a bit more streamlined but all the settings are still at the end of the line :\
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels the new dashboard is a total abortion.

I don't use a Kinnect and to be honest I wonder if the kids that designed it used anything else to test it with.

It's just terrible. Left right up down left up down up up down right...jeez! That and gong back too far just takes you to the option that just takes you back into the damn section you were getting out of. It just takes so long to get anywhere and find anything.

A mess.
 
I use the bumpers rb/lb to quick tab over to the section I want if it's not something I can do from the xbox button quick menu.

I've really been using my xbox less and less because of TOR but every time I fire it up for Netflix, I damn near rage at how clunky and terrible they've managed to make that app.

Quit fixing shit that isn't broken!
