Almost all my games are now backward compatible. I think there's only a handful left that aren't.

Any idea where the FULL list could be downloaded? I'm just curious what it would look like for me. Eventually I'll buy another 360 :D

I never owned an XBox so a BC update is like new game release day.

That said, I'm really dissapointed with Unreal Championship and Mercenaries.

Finally....PANZER DRAGOON ORTA! I missed this the first time and now I can pick up a used copy.

As an interesting note, I just copied and pasted the list into Excel to run a count. As of this update, there are exactly 360 Xbox games that run on Xbox 360 :)

now I wonder if there's a list of the entire published library of Xbox games, it'd be cool to see where the percentage stands now.

Cool! That's actually more then I would have guessed. I haven't gone through my library yet, to see what games I have, that still aren't BC, but most of them are. I just wish there was a way for me to transfer all my saves over. I just finished the original Halo, on my 360, and now I am moving onto Halo 2. After that maybe Jet Set Radio Future.

Finally they got JSRF!! That is one of my favorite xbox games. I'm gonna have to replay it now.

Panzer Dragoon Orta.....and JSRF. All I need now is Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and I'll be a happy SOB...

Some good games added to the BC update. I really hope MS continues BC for at least one more year at the same rate of ~30 games every 4 months. 100 more games would make the BC list great, instead of just good as it stands now.

The code for a free download of XBL CONTRA has been given away. First paged was recieved at 02:40 PM.

This new update nailed most of the ones I was interested in. Once they've got Morrowind in, I'll be happy as a clam.

One thing that I don't like is there's only 1 Prince of Persia game on the BC list. The next-gen PoP game is a LONG ways out too. The only good thing about this is it's guaranteed fewer broken controllers... :)

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection

I seriously thought this would never come, time to break out the joystick for some 3rd Strike on live

That's a good set of updates. I wish they'd updated KotOR to work better on the 360. You can play it, but the sound is pretty screwed up.

Strange. Jet Set Radio Future is on the list, yet it doesnt work for me. Says there is an update for that game available, i download the update, then it tells me the game is not supported.

Interesting. I have the game, but haven't tried it yet. I'll give it a shot and post back on my attempt.

What was the Soul Calibur 2 update for. Thought it would finally fill out my 4:3 monitor screen with the proper aspect ratio, but it's still vertically stretched and only plays in a small window :(

Are you trying to play it off the combo disk? That won't work.

I've heard that import versions of JSRF won't work either.

Nah. I have the retail version, but from what i've read elsewhere, PAL versions of some of the games dont work.

Sucks balls since i was really hoping to play it again. Not to worry. Only another 6 month wait till us brits get our versions working:mad:

Well I didn't have any problems with NTSC retail version. I popped the disk in, a blade slide onto the screen, informing me that I needed to download an update for the game, I hit Yes, it took about 20 seconds, and then the game started up fine.

Now I just need to start playing this game again, though I always liked the original better, on the Dreamcast. Using the analog stick to do your tags is so much better then just hitting one button.

I played some Unreal Championship 2 on the 360 on XBL a couple days ago. I still suck at it.

still no Kung Fu Chaos

nor

Magic the Gathering: Battlegrounds

(These and Fuzion Frenzy were my favorite Xbox games)

I finally got around to looking, and 17 of my 24 Xbox games are backwards compatible. Not too bad, in my opinion. The only games I have left, in my collection, that won't work on my 360 are:

Blinx: The Time Sweeper
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
ESPN NFL 2K5
Kung Fu Chaos
NFL2K3
Unreal Championship
Voodoo Vince
