They have been on sale on Nvidia 2x a week for past 2 weeks, gotta sign up for discord alerts though.

Hey guys, I've been on the hunt for a while, signed up for discord servers and all. I've got the link many times and clicked, but I can't seem to be fast enough. I'm not sure how people actually buy these.

Anyway, I'm still on the hunt. A couple of you reached out to me with deals I really regret not taking now. Live and learn I guess.

Keep an eye out for Nvidia Marketplace notifications from your discord servers. Might be the easiest place since they implemented the one GPU per account and household.

I saw a used one for $2000 on FB marketplace, but you're really unlikely to find one for that price right now. I'm just holding out to see if I can get one through NVIDIA's lottery or Best Buy because I'm not paying AIB prices for a used FE.

I've been in NVIDIA's lottery since day 1 and have been hawking Best Buy discord trackers for months. I don't even know if they are currently building and shipping FE cards. I've had all kinds of notifications in the last few weeks for AIB versions in stock, but haven't seen FE's since year end. Maybe it's just time to find a new hobby. Between 3 generations running of untouchable GPUs and now memory pricing, I don't know if it's worth it anymore.

I feel you man. Getting pretty ridiculous. Not sure if it's accurate, but checking an online tracker from trackalacker been a couple of weeks since Best Buy had the FE in stock, but when they do come in it's only for 1-2 minutes based on what I'm seeing. Not sure how accurate it is or if it's missed any restocks....But all of them show only 1-2 minutes of availability before OOS again. Guessing bots be picking them up asap, so chances of nabbing one direct from Best Buy are pretty non existent. I've had Distill.io extension running and have not seen any alerts on 12 second refreshes over the last several weeks...Unfortunate.

I think it's very accurate. I've caught a lot of the restocks, especially around the end of the year. By the time I click the link from the discord alert, app opens, add to cart, 80% of the time it says there are none left when it does the inventory check. 20% it does actually get in the cart but even with everything autosaved I've never been able to actually get one ordered yet. I honestly don't think I've really been that close. I would like to know how the Best Buy stock actually gets distributed. Entirely by bots? Employees? I'd be curious to know.

Yea...It definitely doesn't paint a rosy picture. I would assume Nvidia is also limiting stock which makes things even harder. Just trickle enough for the illusion of restocks, but focus all their production on AI =*(.

This right here is bullshit; if consumers (who don't purchase that many cards) can't buy more than 1 then there should be a damn limit on how many AI server farms can buy. Fair is fair.

I'm not sure what country you're from, but in the US, you cannot force a company to sell equally to everyone. While companies cannot discriminate based on race, they can absolutely discriminate based on who's willing to pay more. Equal distribution of GPU's isn't a thing here, and probably isn't a thing where you're from either.

Yes, it's extremely old. My 2080 Ti Fe was the last GPU I just logged on and purchased. I'm actually picking up a 3090 Ti FE tomorrow morning locally for $900, and I feel like I'm getting a steal. That's a 4 year old GPU. It's insane. Unfortunately, I am afraid times are coming where we won't even have what we have now. This datacenter buildout is in the early stages, I think.

The 5080 is like what 10-15% faster than a 5070Ti? Which itself trades blows with a $700 9070XT. Just my opinion which I know isn’t worth a damn, but If it’s my money and I want something faster than A 5070ti I’m just gonna say fuck it and go 5090. I’d rather over pay for a flagship card than get a card 10-15% faster than midrange and pay twice as much for it.

The RTX 5090 starts at $3.6k right now. The RTX 4090 is the worst at $3.4k. My other card was a 7900 xtx and I needed ray tracing support at the same performance. 9070 xt is a step down from the 7900 xtx other than ray tracing.

Lucky bastage <3 =P. If you happen to have a spare from someone who went that doesn't plan on purchasing said gpu, please do let me know if you'd be willing to share the blessing...lol. It's rough out here on nabbing a 5090 =P....lol. Have had distill io installed and checking for the past 2-3 months, no dice =*(.
