I'm in need of a couple of laptops, prefer full functioning but will consider systems that need parts or repairs.
Looking for something in the $300 or less price range.
Please PM me with what you have and maybe send a pic or two.

if you get an R51s on ebay, let me know and i have parts to finish them off. stay away form the "broken mobo" or LCD not coming on

stick with the "cracked LCD (15") or bad keyboard or mouse (rare, but they happen). HDD caddies and what not, lmk...i have 3 in parts, and can always send you really really cheap parts.
 
I've got a compaq presario 2100 w/ 512 mb ram. LMK if your interested, heat and ebay under lepeds

Take a look at my thread, I've got an older model laptop that still mostly works, there are two problems, the HD cage somehow bent itself so that the ide controller doesn't get full contact with the pins when inserted... you can insert a HDD into it and it will work however.
Also, the fan is broken. the laptop will boot up but it gets hot and throttles if running any demanding applications
