My gpu client has been trying to connect for about an hour and my smp just finished and is trying to connect as well. Guess the weekend bug strikes again.

FAHMon tells me my last GPU work unit was successfully downloaded about 20 minutes prior to DooKey's post.

Did you try restarting the GPU client?

OK, my VM can't grab work.

There does seem to be something wrong.

Seems to be working again. My SMP VM and GPU 2 have work again.

My SMP VM hasn't been able to send or receive work for about eight hours. This is really not good.

Have you tried rebooting it? My VM had sent the completed unit but couldn't get a new one. I think it was waiting for a while before trying again but I rebooted and it grabbed one right away.

My VM still can't get any work. I've restarted it several times and I've confirmed that it has a working internet connection. I'm not sure what else I can do.

Are you using a custom linux VM setup?

Check the times on them, mine were an hour off today, old build without the new dates (not for folding, though).

I'm getting this too. My other VM finished about half an hour ago, and that was perfectly fine. And it's monday!

It's not the installations, it's Stanford. I had several of my VMs with similar predicaments on and off for the past 24 hours. When some of them finally received a WU, it was almost exclusively A1 units.

I just had an SMP client finish a unit and try to upload it. It tried three times and couldn't get it uploaded. However, I had no trouble getting a new work unit.

My GPU clients don't seem to be having any trouble uploading or downloading. One of my uniprocessor clients doesn't seem to have had any trouble but the other one wasn't able to upload its last work unit although it was able to grab more work.

It happened to me earlier today. Wouldn't let me send the unit. I just restarted the GPU2 app and it grabbed a new one, so yeah! Fold on!

Now it's the GPU servers. Maybe Stanford is conducting maintenance across their server farm?

the work servers are still going up and down.. wtf man they were suppose to install new servers weeks ago.. arg!!! at least ive had 2 1888 point gpu work units.. so they take for ever.. makes up for the difference in having to wait to send back data..

I still have almost all my clients now waiting to upload. Is it still a issue for everyone else?

I must have bad wus on my gpu clients. Each had one wu they kept trying to upload and failed every attempt.
They would try to upload many times, then finally download a new wu.
I had them pause when done, deleted the "bad" wu from the work folder.
They are working as intended now.

acctually my GPU and single clients are still folding. All my notfreds have stopped.

Yes, one machine has 4 idle VMs; another has two with a smattering of idle clients here and there... :(

The GPU servers managed to supply WUs, but last night and into the morning the results servers were not receiving data for quite a while.

My GPU clients are working fine, but my virtual machines were not getting new units...So I restarted them and they both got new units, but I can't seem to upload the ones I have completed...interesting :p

It worked!!

I only grabbed a total of 500 PPD yesterday, seem to be back up and running today though, already at 1800points today.

I did have 4 VM's without work for over 24 hours, but they've now all grabbed work.
I've still 2 results waiting to upload, hopefully that happens before they expire.
Most of my GPU's got work but could not upload results.
But by now, all my GPU clients have now uploaded their queued work.
I've prob only dropped ~8-10k PpD on this weekends glitch.
So it could have been a lot worse.

Luck ........... :D

the WU's were fine its the servers that are screwed up.. they were sending out WU's but not accepting them back.. but looks like they fixed it at some point between 7 am when i went to bed and 12 pm when i woke up.. but i keep getting 1888 point WU's now :(

Good God, why?! You only need to run one...I have 1 VM running on 8 cores.

That might be so, but I was getting new wus and uploading those when finished. It was the 5 1888s that wouldn't upload.
It was waiting at least 10 min attempting to upload them before saving to queue and then downloading a new wu, (every time one would finish).

yeah i had the same problem with the 1888's they refused to upload but i guess between when i went to sleep and woke up they finally were sent.. but now i just keep getting 1888 pointers all friggin day.. killin my PPD..

becauses hes running the old VMware client that only supported 2 cores per VM..
