Not wanting to rain on any parades here but an old friend just succumbed to Musular Dystrophy last night after going into cardiac arrest. It's a genetic disease with no known cure and he first noticed symptoms 25 years ago. Didn't affect his mind though as he stayed sharp as a tack. Used to be an avid AOE player until he had too much difficulty with his hands. Another old friend and I are going to hoist a few cold ones in his honor tonight. Fold on for the cures brothers and sisters, fold on ... :(

Thats sad to hear. This is why we fold, so that one day we dont have to worry about shit like this.

FOLD ON MY [H] BROTHERS!!!

Future solutions/cures will require understanding that we don't have today. That is where science plays in

Sad to hear but I do thank you for sharing, it is important we be reminded of what we're trying to achieve.

Hoist one on my behalf for him, will dig out the AOE discs in his memory.

H.

I'm very sorry to hear about that and offer you my condolences. This is why we do what we do with our hobby. We hope that one day, someone will be able to use all of this knowledge that is being gained to do something about these horrendous diseases.

My condolences. I hope you're holding up okay, there'll always be someone to listen here if you feel the desire to vent or discuss anything.

Deepest condolensces. Remember the 25 years that he lived while battling it out in real life. This is the most noble fight of all and I'm sure he's back on the AOE horse somewhere else (up "there), kicking @$$ and taking names.

Keep the faith folding family.
