I have been having all kinds of issues with crashes, and driver errors, and set all my clocks back to stock in an attempt to figure out my problems. something is definitely wrong. my vantage scores are horrible
crossfire disabled
3dmark score 15555
cpu 11k
gpu 14k

crossfire enabled only nets me around 16k 3dmark

Ive done fresh installs, various drivers I have no idea whats wrong. everything is stable under stress testing I just get horrible frames in games and tests
 
What PSU do you have?

Try removing one card and see if either are the issues.

So you took out each card one by one and tested each card separately?

[Testing the RAM]
Download Memtest86+ v4.00 or whatever the latest version is, unzip it, burn the ISO file to a CD, and then boot from it, just like you would do with the XP/Vista install CD. Let Memtest+ run for at least three hours on each stick of RAM separately as well as test the RAM all together. Go for a full 24 hours if you want to be completely sure that the RAM is not a problem. If you start seeing errors, than your RAM is defective or you have incorrect settings for the RAM.

[Testing the Hard Drive]
Download the CD image of Hitachi Drive Fitness Test, burn the ISO file to a CD, and then boot from it, just like you would do with the XP/Vista install CD. Test the hard drive and see if any problems are found. DFT will run on most manufacturers' hard drives. Alternatively, you can use Seagate's SeaTools for DOS to test a Seagate or Maxtor drive. For a Western Digital drive, you could use Data Lifeguard Tools for DOS to test a Western Digital drive.
 
I was only using blend on prime to test my mem, kinna weak. Im testing the first stick right now, I didnt really think memory would be the problem to this, and I cant see how a HDD would affect me like this at all? ill test them though and see what happens
 
both sticks passed on their own, but failed in dual channel. Im going to do some more to see if it is a stick or dimm problem
 
They seem to work fine on their own in any of the dimms. but fail miserably in dual channel. I think im just gonna try to RMA them, and then the board if the new sticks dont work either. I cant think of the last time ive had a stable computer

I'd probably try cranking up the voltage a little.....if you can.
 
well they fail at auto which is 800/5-5-5-18/1.8v
and with my overclock they were only running at 941/5-6-6-18/2.1v and were still failing
they are rated for 1066/5-6-6-18/2.1v
 
Did you up the northbridge voltage a tiny bit to help compensate for the RAM?
 
nope, ill give it a shot. I didnt think id have to for auto, but lemme check
 
should my gpu usage always be exactly the same when in crossfire? I noticed they are always completely synced
