I tried the new v337.88 drivers and I still have the same issues with major FPS drops, while panning the camera or while driving and turning. on all settings

All I know is that both my cards will read between 90%~99% usage and 60fps+ while standing still and once I pan the camera it's down to single digit frames!
it's pretty obvious the copy nvidia used to write their tweak guide is different than the one everyone's been playing for the last couple of days. we'll know for certain in 12~ hours.
I highly doubt it will make that big of a difference.

Catalyst 14.6 tomorrow.
Doesn't seem like Nvidia's drivers are doing anything, so I'm not hopeful.
Nvidia may have confirmed a day 1 patch.

Exactly. AC4 same thing happened.. Same "IT'S NOT EVEN RELEAESED YET" choir.. Nvidia releases new driver, releases performance guide.. Game comes out and... Nothing changed..
Can you guys confirm the oversights shown in the below video?
Its a comparison of GTA4 and Watch Dogs. Alot of this stuff is just pathetic looking, and this is GTA4 not 5.
No dynamic headlights on cars, no deformation of cars when hitting things....etc

I can confirm that no one really gives a shit.
ac4 doesn't have horrendous stuttering, it just runs like shit.

Wow, if that's true then that's pretty lame. The game looks alright from the surface, but it looks like they skimped on the small stuff. Next gen...
This game is eating vram likes its going out of style and the funny thing is it looks to be on par with sleeping dogs texture wise and that game barely cracks the 1gb mark in vram wtf??

So after testing six cards we immediately halted testing. The game was a mess, the results all over the place with many anomalies and offsets, Ultra Quality settings at Ultra HD would even use up to 6+ GB on the graphics memory. Ultra HD became a stutter-fest especially in-game at road at crossings and with cars passing by.
Another one.
No feedback when bullets hit water and all civilians are apparently 1 shot kills.

Are you saying you're surprised games aren't using more than 2 GB effectively, or that Ubisoft made an unoptimized piece of garbage on PC to move more video cards? You have to wonder how we even made it this far on 2GB of VRAM or less. Is as if there is an ulterior motive to sell video cards at play here.
Those are 3 GB cards.Even members with x2 780ti are have major hitching/stuttering.

The issue here being that 3 GB is not enough. People on SLi 780 Ti setups are also most likely using higher resolutions // MSAA, compounding the problem.
I don't mind upgrading when I see visuals and graphics that make me think HOLY HECK THAT IS AMAZING!! NEED TO UPGRADE ASAP!
None of these "Next Gen" games are making me even come close to that. I just don't get where this sudden jump of massive amounts of VRAM are needed.
just read this review online...not from any big name site but I'm thinking that this will be what most reviews will look like...

The side missions which seem constant, yet completely unnecessary, are all easy/boring/same thing over and over.
The rewards, as far as I can tell, aren't particularly enticing to make you want to do them either.
Performance issues are also making it pretty horrible to play
