Was bored and wanted to try the popular mod of vertical GPU. Hope it turned out ok?

I bought the Lian Li mounting bracket for this case at Microcenter for $59

Nice! I'm gonna get a vertical gpu mount for my card. I'll bet it runs cooler as well?

What is the purpose of a vertical mount? Doesn't make sense.
It looks cool. Also, if you can get the card positioned right in the case, such that it's not right up against the side panel, the potential exists for better flow of air out of the heatsink, which mat allow for better cooling.

For sure my system runs cooler now, the GPU heat is less now, and my case has plenty of room between the card and side panel;

I think it turned out fantastic, but the Hyper 212 is cramping its style just a little bit. A Lian Li Galahad would gel very well with your overall silver/white aesthetic.

This is essentially why tiny ITX cases work so well, even with monstrous triple slot GPUs. Perforated side panels means constant access to cool outside air, and GPU temps in these tiny cases tend much better than even in full tower cases. I can cool a GPU up to around ~280W TDP at the minimum fan speed of 800 rpm simply because the result is pretty close to an open bench setting. Of course CPU temps are another matter altogether...

Looks great OP. I have the cooler master on my lian li pc-011 xl. My only complaint is that it isn't perfectly straight and has a slight sag to it. That and the cable was only pci-e 3.0 which is dumb.

My GPU is mounted vertical and it was free!
All it took was having a horizontal motherboard ;)
