Hey there,
I set up a box on ubuntu a few months ago, I just had to move that rig now I don't know how to get folding started up again .
Folding is already installed but I just need the commands to start it and HFM.net back up.
Sorry for the noob question but I never wrote down the commands.

cd to your folding directory, then type ./fah6 or whatever you called the executable. If you followed my guide setting it up, you would do:

cd ~/fah
./fah6

Do you have HFM set up on the Ubuntu box?

so, what you're saying is, you had a rig folding non stop for a couple months?

Nice job.

Often the commands you have run are in the history.

just type
history
and it will spit out the commands that you have run. On the machines I am on it will spit out the last 1000 commands.

For history you can also type in !X where X is the line number number that you want to run. This way you don't have to type the command in again.

Can't one just make a shortcut with said commands? BTW, I'm another Linux noob here. Just installed Ubuntu, and I'm seeing a 6K PPD jump over Vista!
