too many people were going to mow me over before the end of the year so I had to put a stop to that :p

I've been folding pretty hardcore last couple of days (well, for me anyways). I expect to get my gts 450 here for home on Monday and a GT 430 to borg one of my work computers on Wed.

congrats on making top 20

Well, a diet of 6701's for the whole team doesn't help - also HK has dropped of a bit - not sure why yet.

I have shut down the 250 that folded part time in my main rig to save some money and i'm sure that there are more than a few either in the process of upgrading boxen or have broken bits that need replacing.

Also don't forget that we had some help to beat evga to 4bn and they have gone back to their proper teams.

the team trend line might still be pointing downward because we are coming off our peak from right before the overtake

good job on your progress though. With FLECOM in the top 20 the world just feels right :)

I just lost a third of my PPD when my 9800GX2 committed suicide. Don't have the funds to do anything about it :(

nothing to worry about IMO

Are active users are steady.
It takes 200kPPD to get in the top7

I attribute the recent decline to the loss of a few folders that come over from other teams to help us reach 4B, and some users who left after the giveaway. But now its stable and we just need to keep on keepin on.

All the 67xx aren't really helping either, but that affects every team.

Hmm, doesn't seem to be the same look as my trend line.

Of course I'm trying to run away from Liz_Lehmann before I'm mowed over. :D

its because of the P6701/2 smp WU's and P10111 GPU WU's im on avg losing 4k PPD a day. and im sure theres a lot more people losing 10 times that.

the WU's are a hunk.....in my case i did both systems shut down for a few days......looking at more downtime from me as well (working on the case for my Q9450 system, need it off to size stuff :D ) , and doing actual CPU intensive stuff on my 1090T.....though i'm not big enough, yet, to make a huge difference in the trend :D

-bigadv folder are getting hit hard with the 6701s and the like. I know I fold for a 1/3 of the ppd when I get them.

Give me back to back 2686s and ill help fix the issue ;)

Earlier today, each of my 5 clients was running a 6701 or 10111. It was depressing.

But, now my two bigadv machines have 2685s, so things are looking up.

To sum it up, these two following posts have nailed the team production decline on the bull's eye:

Yes, about 15k PPD lower for me if not more....

Yep, fortunately the 67s have been mostly replaced with P60xx WUs lately and hope the trend continues.

^^this^^

Although, I really haven't seen much of a drop myself over the last few days. It just has seemed like it.

Amen Brother. On The SR2 I go from 127k Ppd on a Big Adv to 50k (I think) on a P6701. The P10111's are causing me significant grief on the GPU front. It is a difference of nearly 10k PpD between all of my GPU2 clients.

maybe we should chug on over to mamby-pamby land where maybe we can find some (MOAR D) for you, you jackwagon. :D

I am bucking the trend as well. You can also see a fairly steady diet of -bigadv.

nein.. im waiting to drop 350-400 dollars on a HD6970!

I can't wait to see how well the 6970's will perform, but I do worry that they are going to run really really hot. From the slides, the 6970's appear to be just under 300 watts max TDP.

Of course there is the upcoming nVidia GTX580 which should also get interesting.

6970 runs at 255w TDP. temps shouldnt be any more then the old 5870 since the actual die is smaller even though its a 40nm process. it was designed to be a 32nm process. i dont even care about the gtx 580. no way in hell that thing uses less power then a 6970 even with them removing a few of the double precision units. the gtx 480 had a 250w TDP but used almost 300w. im going to guess the gtx 580's around the 300w mark also even though they are claiming it has a 250w TDP.

I've been working out of town all year, but this has ended now. My computer had started locking up/restarting on Wednesday for no apparent reason. With no one home and no way to access, that put me down the rest of the week for the last 4 weeks or so. I turned -bigadv off till I can fix this problem. I am now working locally and should be able to find the problem and turn -bigadv back on. I have also added a 460 to my machine just for folding.

If the budget allows, my Christmas present to myself might be 2 more Fermi cards just for folding. I have an old AMD socket 939 with an Opteron 185 that doesn't do enough even with -smp to be worth running. It is an SLI motherboard, so I have 2 sockets and a new Corsair TX 850, bought for troubleshooting another problem, that is begging to be put to use.

I assure the people that are trying to pass me I will not relinquish #2 without a fight! :p

They definitely drop my ppd by a decent chunk. I think I've ran a little over 100 of them since I installed the newest version of HFM.net that shows the WU history.

also if you look at the trend past 10/20 when EVGA past us, we are trending up!

We had that initial drop off, but since then we have been steadily increasing :D

Go [H]orde!

and that's a good thing to see.

I've had the 980 going since the mid to 3rd week in October and it has yet to see even one -bigadv unit come to it. Not sure what gives. I realize they're few and far between but others are getting them.

my rigs have been offline for about 2weeks.

too much work.. I remote in at night, and using RDP is easiest, but it kills my GPU clients... Using logmein sucks... as much as I RDP into my network it's too much of a hassle to remember to restart the GPU client
