I tried fighting him I put a few clips into him but he got the best of me mid fight with thermal vision. Using a tree seems to be the best way to avoid his heat sinks.

Predator is not hard with friends. We did it a few times. Use the SR25 jungle as its bugged and cycles him in a single hit....also can destroy any vehicle in a single shot.I killed the predator several times. I used a heavy sniper rifle and called in the rebels to act as cannon fodder.
I don't know man. I'm really not a fan of games as a service. I wish they'd just focus on a large stand alone campaign, instead of dropping these updates semi-regularly. I haven't played the game in months, it takes a while to get back into any game, as I don't even remember the controls and quirks of the game, and by the time I get the hang of it again it is over.

So I take it that the game freezes while trying to access your weapon inventory isn't something new ?

It's on sale on Humble Bundle over the weekend. If I enjoyed the open world fun of Far Cry 5, I assume I'd have fun with this one too?
I don't know. I don't actually care for Far Cry's open world style. I don't like anything like the Bethesda games, which Far Cry seems to be most like. I think Ghost Recon Wildlands is more like GTA V, but in a third world country. Its incredibly entertaining, especially with friends.
Is this game fun solo? I just don't see myself playing a lot of co-op with randos.
Pretty fun honestly - I like the game. Kinda like Division without the grinding. I will say my only negative comments are that the teammate AI seems relatively useless (so far - help me if I'm missing something) and the controls for driving vehicles (at least with kb/m, havent tried controller) is a nightmare, I'm constantly driving off the road.

I hated this game for many of these reasons. Sounds like I am in the minority here. AI was dumb as rocks and you had little to no control over them. They would walk through walls. They would walk directly into enemy camps. Thankfully the enemies wouldn't react to it half the time but many times I died because I didn't notice they were walking along side enemy NPCs. I assumed they'd open up on each other. I assume it had to do with lack of control for your squad and them constantly walking through buildings/checkpoints so they had to make the various NPCs fairly blind to each other otherwise they'd constantly walk into firefights the player didn't want to get into. And the vehicles - I'm there with you. Multiple times I'd land a helicopter almost perfectly, get out and walk a few feet and then it would bounce up into the air and land upside down blowing me up.
I liked the map design. It looked beautiful. The game had potential but was let down by poor technical issues and in general lame and uninspired direction (3rd person, mission design, poor story). That and they drug the Ghost Recon name through the mud. But at least Wildlands isn't as bastardized as Siege is, so it has that going for it.
I you land on a lat and open space, they will not do this.
I don't think anything has changed in single player. Expect for helicopter controls for the worse, thank goodness they left the option in to use the old controls. If someone hated the game then I highly doubt they'll suddenly like it now.The game has evolved considerably. I recommend that people who tried it in the early goings and were disappointed to give it one more shot. It isn't going to be night and day but definitely some solid improvements and refinements.
This game has far superior gunplay to the division, and frankly anything else I can think of.I'm thinking of grabbing this on the cheap and giving it a shot after I get done with the Division 2. I really dig the gun play and hoping this measures up.Will be strictly offline though so hopefully the single player holds up.
